You will be joining Group Finance – a team of approximately 20 dedicated colleagues. Within Group Finance, you will be part of the Financial Controlling & Compliance team with 5 dedicated colleagues, holding overall responsibility for financial controlling and compliance across hummel’s primary markets – including Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. You will work closely with digital teams, commercial departments, and external auditors. Reporting directly to our Finance Controlling & Compliance Manager.

THE ROLE 💥

As Senior Financial Controller, you will take on a central role with responsibility for controlling and reporting for the hummel Group. You will be the financial backbone of hummel’s rapidly expanding e-commerce and marketplace business, owning controlling and reporting across channels and markets and partnering closely with the digital teams to drive performance.

• Financial controlling and internal reporting
• Active participation in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Process optimisation with a focus on digitalization
• Planning and preparation of year-end closing and external auditing
• Ad-hoc projects and tasks of high complexity
• Review, sparring, and coaching of colleagues in the team

YOU BRING 🦾

• A relevant academic degree, e.g. MSc in Economics and Business Administration, HD, or similar
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with controlling of e-commerce and marketplaces, such as Zalando, Limango, ABOUT YOU or similar, preferably from a larger international company or group
• Tech-oriented mindset – you understand the logic of systems and processes and are strong at handling large volumes of data. 
• Familiarity with Business Central
• Proactive communication style and fluency in both Danish and English – you value cross-departmental dialogue and thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
