You will be joining a Group Reporting & Analysis team of three people responsible for consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering across the hummel Group, working closely with Group Management in Aarhus and the local finance team in Türkiye.

THE ROLE 💥

Our Turkish operations report into Group Finance in Aarhus, and the numbers that come out of Türkiye need to be right, understood and acted on. As Financial Controller, you take dedicated responsibility for the controlling of our Turkish operations: you oversee the financial reporting from the local finance team, make sure internal processes, controls and external regulation are followed, and act as the strong bridge between Group Management in Aarhus and the team in Türkiye. 

YOU PLAYING FIELD ⚽

• Control and review the internal financial reporting from our Turkish finance team, including the monthly close
• Challenge local stakeholders on performance, business decisions and outlook - and be part of the decisions that follow
• Oversee the effectiveness of internal controls in our Turkish subsidiary, and compliance with both internal processes and external regulation
• Take an active part in the budgeting and forecasting process for Türkiye
• Drive process optimisation with a focus on digitalisation, and take on ad hoc tasks and projects in the consolidation and reporting process

YOU BRING 🦾

• A relevant academic degree, e.g. an MSc in Economics and Business Administration, a Diploma in Finance or Business, or similar, and at least 3 years of relevant controlling experience from an international company or group, or from an audit or consultancy firm
• A tech-oriented and data-strong profile: you understand the logic of systems and processes, and you are curious about how AI and automation can make our work smarter
• A track record of working effectively across cultures and communicating proactively across departments, in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English - Turkish is a strong advantage. You are comfortable travelling 15-30 days a year
